Creed merupakan sebuah band dari Amerika Syarikat yang ditubuhkan pada tahun 1993 dan dianggotai oleh 4 orang jejaka iaitu Scott Stapp (vokal utama), Mark Tremonti (gitar dan vokal kedua), Brian Marshall (bass) dan Scott Phillips (drum).

Creed di awal penubuhannya

Kemudian, Brian Marshall meninggalkan kumpulan pada tahun 2001 atas masalah peribadi yang menimpa dirinya.

Pada tahun 2004, Creed diisytiharkan berpecah. Scott Stapp bergerak secara solo manakala Mark Tremonti dan Scott Phillips bersatu semula dengan Brian Marshall dan menubuhkan sebuah band baru yang bernama Alter Bridge dengan Myles Kennedy (bekas vokalis The Mayfield Four) menjadi vokalis utama.

Mark Tremonti mendakwa Creed tidak akan bersatu semula pada masa akan datang. Namun pada tahun 2009, Creed bersatu kembali dan membuat kemunculan semula tanpa disangka-sangka.
